You think you’re the only Scandi in the village…. and then you meet a whole bunch of other ex-pats! One of the best things about running NORSK and Little Italy Espresso Bars is getting to meet new friends from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland who, like me, have somehow rocked up in rural Bucks. The Fort End Cafe in Haddenham has become something of an ex-pat hub, thanks to its Scandi-inspired menu and interiors buys (it doubles as the NORSK showroom). No pickled herrings though I’m afraid! Pop in and say Hei.
